Featured FOTD: The Blues
I have this really pretty
friend, right, whose cheek bones I just love; who’s totally unaware of how
pretty she is (can’t be unaware of the hot bod though, right? I mean, it’s
right there!). She doesn’t wear any makeup because her skin is really
sensitive. We were at her salon in Jos, and she decided she’d try, and said she
wanted blue and purple. Soon as I heard “blue” I was squeamish, cos you do blue
like others and it comes off so strong. For me blues and greens are strong
colours in makeup, depending on the shade. Did it anyways, using silver in the
inner third of her eyelid, and here’s the outcome. I seriously need to learn
how to Photoshop... would have been handy for the background
The before shot is not
exactly a fair picture because she was unprepared, and it was actually the
before shot of the person with the forehead...lol. She has really serious
breakouts on her jaw area, which isn’t showing; all that is evident is the discolouration
caused by acne scars, and even that’s not showing much.
I chose to use the FM
foundation because the one for dark skin has these gold highlights in it that
gives a glow and reflects light off blemishes making them to seemingly
disappear. It also makes the one foundation to fit across 2-3 shades of dark
skin tones Before shot
